SEASONAL CHECKLIST



Clean Up debris from winter weather events.


Work 3–4 inches of compost into all planting beds.


Top dress with mulch and compost in and around plant material as needed.


Start tomatoes and peppers indoors 6–8 weeks before last frost.


Direct-sow cool-season herbs and vegetables: lettuce, spinach, kale, peas, radishes


Prune necessary trees and shrubs as new growth begins.


Divide and replant overgrown perennial clumps, hardy herbs, and ground cover.


Apply an all natural weed suppressor to paths and ornamental beds.


Set up hoses and turn on outside water. Upgrade drip irrigation as needed.
