• Water deeply and regularly. Aim for 1 inch per week for lawn and beds
Raise the Mower Deck
• Top-dress bare patches of the lawn and overseed as needed
• Deadhead flowering plants regularly to promote continuous bloom
• Plant new summer perennials and grasses.
• Inspect Heaths, Heathers, Phlox and other spring perennials. Replace tired spring blooming plants
• Monitor for common pests such as aphids, grubs, and spider mites
• Plant warm-season kitchen garden crops such as tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash, and basil
• Succession-sow fast-growing herbs like cilantro, dill, and lettuce every 2–3 weeks for a continuous harvest
• Harvest vegetables and herbs frequently to encourage continued production and prevent bolting
